At the end of the week, citizens are interested in knowing the prices of basic commodities and vegetables, so that they can buy the necessary needs for them during the holiday, and among these main commodities that families are keen to follow their prices is poultry, which is considered the main meal on the Egyptian table and the preferred source of protein for adults and children, and many followers are keen to know the daily bulletin of the poultry and egg exchange, to reach the latest chicken prices, so we will monitor in the following lines the prices of poultry today, Thursday, corresponding to February 20, 2025.
Poultry prices
• The prices of white chickens decreased by an average of 4 pounds per kilo, to range between 90 pounds to 91 pounds per kilo on the farm, to be displayed in the markets and sold to the consumer at a price ranging between 100 pounds to 101 pounds.
• Sasso chicken prices ranged between EGP 102 and EGP 103 per kilo on the farm, to be sold to the consumer in the markets at a price ranging between EGP 112 and EGP 113.
• Local chicken prices ranged between EGP 124 and EGP 125 per kilo.
• Parent chicken prices stabilized at EGP 68 per kilo on the farm.
Chick prices
• The price of white chicks decreased by EGP 2 to record a price ranging between EGP 50 and EGP 60.
• The price of white chicks ranged between EGP 42 and EGP 42.5.
• Sasso chicks stabilized at a price ranging between EGP 13 and EGP 14.
• Sasso pure chicks recorded a price ranging between EGP 13 and EGP 14.
• Free-range chicks settled at a price ranging between 6.5 and 7 pounds.
Duck prices
• The price of local duck meat settled between 119 and 120 pounds per kilo.
• French duck recorded a price ranging between 84 and 85 pounds per kilo.
• Muscovy duck price ranged between 99 and 100 pounds per kilo.
Mule duck recorded a price ranging between 89 and 90 pounds per kilo.
Mular duck price ranged between 89 and 90 pounds per kilo.
Turkey prices
• The price of white turkey meat decreased to range between 99 and 100 pounds per kilo.
• The price of brown turkey meat also decreased to range between 119 and 120 pounds per kilo.
Egg Prices
• The price of a carton of (red) eggs ranged between 150 and 152 pounds on the farm.
• A carton of (white) eggs recorded a price ranging between 149 and 151 pounds on the farm.
• A carton of (local) eggs recorded a price ranging between 119 and 120 pounds.
