Conversely, the term "food safety," often applied, refers to keeping undesirable and harmful factors—physical, chemical, and biological—at their lowest levels and as safe as possible. A significant event in recent decades has been the advancement of knowledge regarding food safety and the impact of feed on its security. Acceptable levels of substances and undesirable elements in feed have been identified.

Elections for the Board of Directors of the General Union of Poultry Producers in Egypt

The elections for the Board of Directors of the General Union of Poultry Producers in Egypt took place. In a remarkable display, all members of the poultry producers in Egypt gathered to choose their representatives for the union's board for the upcoming term.

The SPACE exhibition, in collaboration with MEAP, is organizing a discussion panel titled: "Import and Export Practices and Challenges of Raw Materials to Francophone African Countries and Optimization of Local Resources." The panel will be held on September 18, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The discussion will be conducted in French in the presence of economic and commercial representatives and specialized speakers.

Beirut Poultry Summit

The summit, organized by the Lebanese Poultry Farmers Association, the Lebanese branch of the World Poultry Science Association, and the Middle East Agricultural and Food Publishing House (MEAP) in collaboration with the American University of Beirut, aims to enhance the poultry industry and improve food security in Lebanon and the region. This event has earned the trust of poultry industry leaders both within the region and beyond, and will bring together policymakers and key figures in the poultry industry from April 10, 2025, to April 12, 2025.
